Fish feed below the surface 90% of the time, Scientific Anglers Sonar Fly Lines allow you to target subsurface feeders in a full range of environments from just below the film to the depths.  Whether you are pitching a weighted streamer for smallmouth, stripping a giant bunker pattern for stripers, or crawling a chironomid for stillwater trout, there is a Sonar line for you.

Sonar Fly Lines are made in a full range of line weights and sink rates for exploring all depths of water.  Top anglers world-wide have helped us to create the most comprehensive lineup of sinking lines available.  Cores and coatings are adjusted for a complete range of water temperatures from ice-out lakes to steamy jungle rivers.  Many of these are built on the award-winning Titan Taper to load rods quickly and turn over flies easily.  They feature AST for improved slickness and durability and Welded Loops for quick attachment of leaders along with SA ID to find the line you want quickly.

Line densities range from just-barely-sinking intermediate at 1.25 ips (inches per second) to over 9 ips.  There are numerous single density options and a full range of special dual-density stillwater lines.  The unique, triple-density 3D Sonar Titan Lines throw like a floater, turnover the largest flies, and have a straight connection to the fly.  This eliminates any sag in the line and gives better bite detection and hook sets.  No matter where your fly needs to be in the water column, a Sonar line will take it there.
