Its distinct chemistry gives rise to distinct properties; namely, low-stretch and extreme sensitivity. ESP tippet stretches one-third as much as fluorocarbon at low tension, making it ideal for targeting light-biting fish with subsurface presentations. When Euro nymphing, ESP transmits even the gentlest pickups directly to the sighter. When indicator nymphing, ESP makes the indicator twitch sooner, resulting in quicker hooksets and more hookups.
