Ohhhhhh Yes!!! It is finally here and ready to go. Over the last year we have been getting a lot of requests to make this dubbing. there was a hole that needed to be filled and we answered. The perfect mix of our Fine Natural Dubbing, Fish Fur, and Disco Dub, we have created what has turned into our favorite streamer dubbing. With stacking heads as our main focus, as seen above. “Fly tied by Marcus Bevier”.
What also made this product a lot of fun is that we took it and asked the public what they wanted to see in our colors. We took over 200 recommendations and narrowed it down to 36…. for now…. lol
We may add a few in the future, but 36 is a great place to start. It gave us an opportunity to have tiers be involved with the making of a product, and it resulted in something we thought was really cool. it took us down a path with a few of the colors matching the US Military Colors. With these we chose to take 10% of the sales on these colors and well donate it to Project Healing Waters.
With an average length of 4-5” this material is perfect for any large headed fly, it also cuts to any length and stacks very well, and at 1.5-2” works very well in a dubbing loop. The second part of this material is that is crosses over as a dry fly dubbing. With 66% of the dubbing being our FND and a Trilobal material, dry fly fisherman will love it.
With these dry fly materials, it also allows the fly to suspend and slowly float when stalled in the water calm. Adding the ability for a slow presentation.
