Built by Hand for Demanding Trout Waters
Each Deerfield wooden landing net begins with premium hardwood lumber selected for both its strength and natural character. Individual wood strips are milled and arranged to highlight the grain before being laminated with the handle using waterproof epoxy.
Once the laminated frame has cured, every landing net is carefully shaped and sanded by hand. Multiple coats of epoxy are applied, followed by UV-protective spar urethane to protect the wood and help prevent the epoxy finish from becoming cloudy with prolonged sun exposure.
