Measuring and documenting your catch has never been easier. The Fishtechy Proof Ball Version 3 combines innovative AI-powered measuring technology with the convenience of your smartphone, allowing anglers to measure, record, and share their catches without the hassle of traditional measuring tapes, boards, or scales.
Now featuring a floating design and an improved finger ring and attachment clip, the latest Proof Ball is more convenient than ever for anglers fishing from boats, wading rivers, or practicing catch-and-release fishing.
The Proof Ball works with the free Fishtechy smartphone app to calculate a fish's length, girth, and estimated weight from a simple photo or video. Using the Proof Ball's precisely sized 1.4-inch sphere as a reference point, Fishtechy's measuring technology analyzes your catch and provides measurements without requiring you to physically measure the fish.
Simply hold or position the Proof Ball alongside your catch, take a clear photo or video, and let the Fishtechy app do the measuring.
Now It Floats
One of the biggest improvements to the Proof Ball V3 is its new floating design. If you accidentally drop it while fishing, the Proof Ball stays on the surface instead of sinking to the bottom. This is a particularly welcome improvement for anglers wading rivers, fishing from boats, or handling fish close to the water.
Improved Finger Ring and Attachment Clip
Version 3 features a redesigned finger ring that makes it easier to hold the Proof Ball alongside your catch while taking a photograph. The improved attachment clip allows you to securely attach the Proof Ball to a fishing pack, vest, or lanyard, keeping it readily accessible whenever you land a fish.
Same Proven Measuring Technology
The V3 retains the same precisely sized 1.4-inch reference sphere and instant measurement functionality through the free Fishtechy app. You get the same convenient digital measuring system with improved handling and on-the-water practicality.

The new floating design is especially useful for fly fishermen wading rivers or fishing from boats, where accidentally dropping a small accessory can mean losing it for good. Combined with the redesigned finger ring and convenient attachment clip, Version 3 is easier to carry, easier to use, and better suited for everyday fishing.
Whether you're chasing trout on your favorite river, striped bass along the coast, or bass and other freshwater species, the Fishtechy Proof Ball V3 makes it easy to measure, document, and share your catches using just your smartphone.
