Iconic Richard Wheatley Dry Fly Compartment Boxes. The aluminium fly box is 4 3/4 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide and 1 1/8th inch deep. Available with either clips or flat foam in the lid. There is a choice of 8, 10 or 12 compartments in the base.
Replacement foam pads are also available ready cut to fit our boxes. See 'spares' in the product range.

Iconic Richard Wheatley Dry Fly Boxes. The aluminium fly box is 6 inches long (152mm), 3 1/2 inches wide (89mm) and 1 inch deep (29mm). Available with clips, flat foam or further compartments in the lid. The compartments are spring loaded and each one is tested in our workshop before we pack them for delivery.
Our 1609 Dry Fly Box has worldwide reputation as the Rolls Royce of Fly Boxes.
Introduced to the range for 2020 is a variant on the 1609, the 1609SP which has 10 compartments in the lid providing easy to access large spaces for storing Dry Flies and 16 compartments in the base. (152mm x 89mm x 41mm).

These aluminium fly boxes are coveted the world over, there are many imitations but this product is the real thing and you can even have it engraved. Treat yourself with your own name or why not give as a gift or thank you. The coloured boxes give a well defined engraving, the silver finish is more subtle.
