Hareline Arctic Fox Zonker

The Arctic Fox Zonker strips consist of soft hair that is great for collars and wings on Steelhead and Salmon flies. It also makes large zonker strip flies for pike, musky, and large saltwater species. Hide is cut 1/8 inch wide.

Some strips may come with loads of underfur (emphasize the "Arctic" in Fox) this can be advantageous for larger bushier flies but if you wish for a less dense strip you may brush out the underfur with any standard hair comb or gently work the underfur out with your fingers. This also tames the fur which may be disturbed from being packaged, brushing often improves the aesthetic properties.
