Mike Rice "Mud Dog Flies"
Mike Rice still ties a few flies when he's not working in the wood shop at Jill Mason Art or walking the mud somewhere with an eight-weight, camera and notebook looking for the next untold story to bring to light.
Mike came up with this cinder worm pattern with help from his buddy Capt. Bob Hines of Fly Fish RI. Bob is the man if you want to fish the worm hatch. You can use it as a dropper tied in front of a small foam floater just to try something different.
Overall length 2.25-2.5"
