We are very excited to welcome Blane Chocklett back to New England to host our first ever two-day Musky seminar. Although Blane is primarily known for his innovations in the fly-tying community, he is an expert at targeting these large, elusive predators, and they’ve had a major influence on the products he has developed for the Chocklett Factory.
On Friday, January 9th from 4-6pm, Blane will be offering a 2 hour presentation on targeting Musky. This portion of our weekend seminar will span a wide range of topics such as essential tackle, fly selection, and fishing technique. Whether you are a curious beginner or an avid Musky fisherman looking to hone your craft, this is the perfect opportunity to learn from one of the best in the business.
On Saturday, January 10th from 12:30-4:30, we will be hosting a full tying class with Blane. Blane will focus the class on two large, articulated patterns that utilize his own materials and recipes; one baitfish-style Gamechanger and one topwater changer. Not only will you learn the proper techniques for tying these intricate articulated patterns, but you’ll leave with two fishable flies; all materials included. For anybody without tools or a vise, we have plenty of loaner gear on hand. Please just let us know what you need when you book the class.
