Join us on Saturday, February 22nd from 1-5pm for a tying class and presentation with local Cape Cod flats guide Chris Kokorda! Materials provided besides thread and adhesives. Loaner vises and tools on hand if necessary.
Chris will be starting the class with a slideshow providing insights on presentation and tactics, then attendees will spend the remainder of the class learning to tie the following three patterns that have become staples of Chris's fly box over the years:
Dredge Crab - A guide style crab pattern that’s been Chris's bread and butter over the last 4 years)
Dab'l do-ya - Sand dab or juvenile flounder. Striper love these and key in on them at certain times.
Bendback Sand Eel - Easy casting and very light presentation for spooky bass on flats
After the class, Chris will stick around for Q&A and shop tips. We really hope to see you there!
