This is the first in what is going to be series of on the water rod reviews. We think showing how the rod fishes in the real world environments for which it was designed is more beneficial than giving someone's opinion or ratings of a rod. Instead we took this 9wt out on a windy day and ripping current and fished with the same sinking line we would use ourselves. What results is a true in depth perspective of the way the rod casts, fights fish and performs overall in a real fishing environment.
