These are amazingly cool. Charlie Craven in Colorado thought these were a perfect way to weight small flies without adding a lot of bulk to the pattern. This makes for a better silhouette and more lifelike nymphs. They slip over the hook shank and can be secured with thread. A tail and light-thin dubbing can be added along with a soft hackle. Be creative and give them a go!
