    3 Weight Rods:
Our short 6’9” 7’0” and 7’2” rods that cast a 3 weight line are perfect for tiny flies (#16 to 28), fishing close in or fishing where there is no appreciable wind. These rods will deliver a great fight from a small fish, yet they’re quite capable of landing the unexpected lunker.
The solid construction of the tip of a bamboo rod allows it to take more flex and strain than a tubular graphite rod without the tendency to explode. In other words, the tips of even a delicate 3 weight cane rod can take a beating.

    4 Weight Rods:
The 4 weights (We offer 2 seven footers and a 7’4”) all have a redefined, crisp dry fly action. Capable of handling the normal range of dry flies (#14 to 28), they deliver high line speed and tight loops for accurate casts and precise fly placement. A 4 weight line assures a very gentle delivery on even the most still water.

    7'6" 5 weight

    5 Weight Rods:
When longer casts are need, or there is some wind, a 5 weight rod is the best choice. Considered by many to be the “go to” rod, a 5 weight is versatile enough to cover most situations that you might encounter during a long day fishing. We offer three 7’6” rods and one 8’0” for a 5 weight line.
If the wind kicks up, and you need to switch to a weight nymph or observe a rise to a grasshopper, a 5 weight line can handle a large variety of situations. The 8 footer is very useful when there are currents between you and that rise, and you need to keep more line off the water.
If you find the need to tie on a 7x tippet and present a #24 Baetis, a 5 weight in bamboo is still delicate enough to handle the job.
