The reel uses the same patented drag system as the big game MacKenzie SuperLite. The MXP large arbor diameter and shallow spool depth maximizes retrieval speed and minimizes effective drag pressure increase.

The MXP has a Jet Black Mirror finish with optional spool finish colors. Lightweight alloys and extensive intricate precision machining make the MXP truly a work of art in form and function.
